Infinity Mortgage Funding Founder, Owner and Vice President, Rick Brown admits he loves his job. It wasn’t until he co-founded Infinity that he got into the mortgage industry, and after years of solving problems in other areas, the constant challenge of matching clients with a mortgage suits his friendly, dynamic personality perfectly. Rick also takes the ideas and visions of his partners and makes them a reality, often referring to himself as “The Implementer”.

Throughout his life, Rick’s career has put him in contact with people in need of his service and expertise. He was store manager for a national grocery chain in Chicago, and then spent 16 years with a national janitorial company, starting out in sales and ending up as Vice President of Operations. One of his favorite duties in that capacity was selling and servicing the contracts for Coors Field in Colorado and the Savvis Center in St Louis, venues that required him to watch sporting events and concerts as part of his job.

Rick’s daughter, Angela is married to Doug Haldeman, President and Co-Founder of Infinity Mortgage Funding. In the late 1990’s Doug and Angela wanted to start a mortgage company, and they felt that Rick’s business experience and tenacious character would make a good addition to their team. Rick was ready to stop traveling for work and spend time with his family, plus the entrepreneurial aspects of owning his own company appealed to him, so in 1999 they founded what is today, Infinity Mortgage Funding.

For years Rick and his wife have been buying residential investment property. They currently own and manage a portfolio of 2.5 million dollars. He considers his vast experience with investment property one of the biggest strengths he has to offer his clients.

A self-proclaimed workaholic for most of his life, Rick acquired a hobby when he bought a Hummer (H1) and joined The Hummer Club. He and his youngest son Ryan enjoyed time together packing the Hummer and heading across the country to go off-road with The Hummer Club. Recently Rick sold his Hummer and bought farm property in central Missouri, but he still belongs to The Hummer Club and plans to Hum again someday.

According to Rick, the high level of training and support given to the employees at Infinity Mortgage sets them apart from their competitors. Rick stresses that Infinity is not interested in a one-time mortgage relationship just to make money. Instead, they’re interested in an ongoing, lifetime relationship with their clients. Infinity also invests a large amount of time and money in technology to give their employees access to the most up-to-date market information. This approach can affect decisions on when to lock in a mortgage rate, giving you the best approach on your mortgage.

Rick is a member of the Missouri Association of Mortgage Brokers, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and is treasurer for the Women’s Council of Realtors. He has five children, and is married to Virginia. When he is not busy working, he enjoys prowling around his new farmland and helping Virginia oversee their portfolio of rental properties.

After spending so many years working with people and helping them solve their problems, Rick is ready to add you to his list of satisfied clients. He knows he has the solid support and expertise of Infinity Mortgage on his side, and with his entrepreneurial spirit he also has the freedom to try new ideas if the old ones aren’t working. Ready to be a Client for Life? Let Rick show you how!
